NetPosa Wins the Honor of “Annual Intel Capital CEO”

Recently, Intel Capital announced 12 technological innovation companies with a total value of USD38 million at its annual event – Intel Capital Global Summit. Since its entrance into China in 1998, Intel Capital has invested over USD1.9 billion in more than 140 Chinese technologies companies. The Intel Capital Global Summit was firstly held in 2000. It invites business executives, opinion leaders, government decision-makers, technical experts and other stakeholders to attend each of its sessions, representing a platform for entrepreneurs, innovators and business managers to gather together and exchange views.

Mr. Feng Cheng, Co-founder of NetPosa and CEO of American office, participated in the Summit on behalf of the Company and fetched back the award of “Annual Intel Capital CEO”. This is the presentation of the honor of a Chinese firm for the first time after the summit was held. As an excellent national brand of China, NetPosa has left another wonderful moment on the international arena.

NetPosa has made constant attempts and efforts on the road of improving people’s wellbeing with science and technology since its inception in 2000. It established its leading position in China in terms of the technology in the video surveillance industry by attending the Shanghai Golden Shield Project; it gained profound experience in attending leading projects and accumulated technologies by participating in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games; in 2010, NetPosa released the world’s first embedded NVR based on X86 architecture, sparked the wide attention of the industry and successfully obtained the Series B investment of Intel Capital.

After years of accumulation, NetPosa went public on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2014. With more resources and platforms available, NetPosa becomes formidable. IHS revealed that in the video management software (VMS) field where NetPosa specializes in, it secures the first place in China and the third place in the world in terms of market share.

Mr. Liu Guang, Chairman of NetPosa, indicated in the interview before the Summit that as a leading VMS product and solution provider, NetPosa starts to extend and develop video big data and artificial intelligence based on its accumulation and the integration of global high-and-new technologies while offering outstanding products and solutions in safe city, transportation and other sectors.

This honor not only demonstrates Intel Capital’s affirmation of its investment portfolios, but also fully points to NetPosa’s rapid development over the years and future development, and also inspires NetPosa to forge ahead actively. Going forward, NetPosa will constantly improve its development strategy and meet customers’ demands across the board based on its leading intelligent algorithm in the industry and accumulation of core technologies in the field of computer vision.
