Recently, the “Project of Innovation Capacity-building of Engineering Laboratory of Beijing Municipality for Key Technology of Artificial Intelligence Service Platform Oriented Towards Public Security” applied by NetPosa passed the expert review. NetPosa received the identification reply (Reply No.: J. F. G. [2017] No. 242) from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform after an announcement was made public, and gained relevant subsidies.
About the Engineering Laboratory of Beijing Municipality for Key Technology of Artificial Intelligence Service Platform Oriented Towards Public Security:
Located in Haidian District, Beijing, the engineering laboratory plans to set up research & development support platform, carry out innovative researches and engineering researches in 4 areas, including data access and networking management, structured analysis of video image information, efficient cloud storage of PB-EB data, and cloud retrieval technology of hundred million-level data, and put in place an artificial intelligence service platform oriented towards public security.
About the Engineering Laboratory of Beijing Municipality:
The Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform started the identification of municipal engineering research centers and engineering laboratories in early 2017. Applicants were required to have prominent social and public attributes, enjoy the features of social openness and industrial leaders, and establish effective support and guarantee for making breakthrough in key common technologies that restrict industrial transition and upgrading and the development of major industries. The applicants shall open the research & development as well as experiment platform and relevant resources to the public and provide technical service and support for the industry.
Finally, 1 engineering research center and 49 engineering laboratories out of the hundreds of enterprises were identified as the municipal engineering research centers and engineering laboratories in 2017.
